Boy Scout Troop 511
San Pedro Presbyterian Church sponsors one of the best Boy Scout troops in our area. Troop 511 has been chartered by SPPC for 25 years, earning the title "Veteran Troop."During those 25 years, Scout Troop 511 has graduated more than 40 Eagle Scouts, the highest award in Scouting earned by only the most capable young men.
Troop 511 goes camping monthly, attends Scout Camp for one week every summer, and sends advanced backpackers to Philmont Scout Ranch.
Scout Troop 511 meets at our church on Monday evenings at 7 p.m. Visitors are always welcome.
